Hopefully, by the time that this game comes out, more people will have been able to find a PlayStation 5. One thing that I think may bum some people out is that so far, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is only scheduled for release on the PlayStation 5, there is currently no PlayStation 4 version of the game mentioned. One thing I am very excited about is the potential new Spider Gadgets that Peter and Miles will get to use. Will we have to play as certain ones at certain points of the story? Will we be able to pick who we want to play as and switch between them on the fly? Will there be multiplayer? There are many unknowns here, but with how good the other two games were, you have to give these guys a lot of good faith. In Marvel's Spider-man 2, we know that both Spidey’s are going to be in the game.
The way they introduced Miles in the first game and then made him the star of his own game was great.
One thing that I feel Insomniac Games are not getting enough credit for is the world building that they have done in the Spider-Man universe. We do not know how Venom exactly will play into the story, but the team here is sure to nail it. One thing that we do know about the story in this game is that it will feature Venom and the legendary candy man himself, Tony Todd will be voicing him. The story that the original game and Spider-Man: Miles Morales told was fantastic. I am very excited to see the direction the story of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 goes in. While we do not know a ton of information about the game just yet, I thought we could have some fun looking at the things we do know about the game. Insomniac games struck gold with the original game which was released all the way back in 2018, five years ago! We knew that a sequel was coming, but few of us could have predicted that the initial trailer would blow us away the way it did. I have to say that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is arguably the biggest game for me that is due out in the next couple of years.
